Food Pantry
The Mendota Community Association is a grass roots community-based group dedicated to serving all who live in the Mendota area through innovative and targeted programs and activates.
By providing monthly supplemental food, the Community Center of Mendota, Virginia, helps to fill the gap for approximately 35 families in the surrounding areas.
The MCA opens the food pantry, the 4th Thursday of each month from 3-5 PM.
Ours is a “choice” pantry, in which visitors to the Center choose the items they want within specified food categories, based on the size of their family. The food we distribute represents about 5 days worth of food each month,
We welcome and depend on donations of food to help stock our Food Pantry .
